Details: Wurth Baer Supply Company is currently hiring for a newly created position - Shipping Lead - located in Vernon Hills. This full-time position will be Monday - Friday from approximately 12:00 pm - 8:30 pm. In summary, this role will process LTL and TL shipments as well as inter-company transfers. You will use Ratelinx to determine the most cost-effective way to ship the customers' orders. You may prepare and pack items for shipment, process all UPS shipments, and schedule personnel so all shipments are completed by deadliness. You will be responsible for ensuring that proper documentation for truck lines and transfer trucks are completed thoroughly and neatly. You will verify that all shipments are loaded correctly and securely onto their trucks or vans.
