Job Responsibilities: This position is responsible for shipping extruded aluminum to other facilities and customers. It is also responsible for quality inspection of the outbound and inbound material. Shift Requirements: Qualified candidates must be able to work a 12 hour rotating 1st shift with periods of required overtime before and after normal shift hours.Required Skills: 1. Ability to use a hand pallet jack and motorized pallet jack. 2. Ability to operate an overhead crane. 3. Ability to lift, push and pull up to 75 lbs individually and 150 lbs with a partner. 4. Ability to read written instructions, and take verbal instructions. 5. Ability to multitask, proritize and work under time constraints. 6. Ability to visually inpect boxed aluminum for a quality and accurate shipment. 7. Ability to work with co-workers and supervisors with good teamwork skills. 8. Ability to adapt to constant change. 9.Ability to stand on concrete for up to 12 hours per day. 10.Ability to work in extreme temperatures. 11.Ability to wear, long sleeves, hard hats, steel toe boots, safety glasses, and ear plugs. 12.Ability to adhere to all safety protocol is a must. 13.Ability to move 50 foot trailers from one bay door to another. Experience pulling trailers is a plus. 13. Qualified candidates must have at least 1 year of forklift experience.
