Details: Staff Management is a leading provider of custom designed staffing solutions for Fortune 500 companies throughout the country.  Since the inception of HRO Today’s MSP Baker’s Dozen in 2010, Staff Management | SMX has ranked at the top of the list and #1 in at least one category every year.  Now you have the opportunity to work with an industry leader. Staff Management is currently seeking a Director, Global Supplier Management to work out of the Chicago headquarters.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:  Recruit, develop and retain a proactive, results-oriented sourcing and supplier management teams Mentor Small Business and Diverse suppliers as Executive Sponsor for Diversity Council and Corporate Contact for National Minority Supplier Development Council Aggressively drive the development of new and existing suppliers through low cost country sourcing to support the business growth without sacrificing quality and delivery performance Lead supply chain consolidation activities and create more strategic, mutually beneficial supplier partnerships through effective communication with domestic and international suppliers and customers at all levels of the organization Establish clear metrics to measure the effectiveness of the sourcing organization in alignment with overall corporate objectives Ensure compliance with global legal requirements and liaise with legal ongoing compliance of all activities worldwide Communicate and coordinate with the executive staff to meet the financial performance expectations, exceed customer requirements and create value Extensive experience in leading low cost country sourcing and in the identification of best-in-class suppliers Demonstrate the ability to successfully drive change in a complex, global organization Partner with other business leaders in the Sales and Operations Planning process to drive optimal supplier performance and availability levels Posses a sound understanding of negotiating techniques, legal contracts and contract management Advance skills in spend analysis and modeling Demonstrated knowledge of Supply Chain Management and / or Structured Strategic Sourcing Methodology Value analysis to identify return on investment opportunities for clients Preparing the client for deployment (communications, training) Experience with eProcurement and spend analytic tools such as Ariba, IQNavigator, Fieldglass
