Corporate website:  http://www.rti-inc.comRTI's innovative solution has revolutionized safety and operations by eliminating the previous hazards and inconvenience of handling frying oil with our closed loop system.  RTI partners with biodiesel refiners to supply our used cooking oil as feedstock for sustainable energy.Headquartered in suburban Minneapolis, Minnesota, with a growing number of depot sites strategically located across the U.S., RTI is a growing company, serving over 17,000 customer sites in over 42 metropolitan markets.OUR CUSTOMERSWe serve the leaders in the foodservice industry which include - McDonald's, Burger King, Jack in the Box, Albertsons, White Castle, KFC, Carrabba's, Applebee's, Chili's, and leading independent restaurants.POSITION DESCRIPTION The Service Manager directs and coordinates customer service activities of the Depot location to install, service, maintain, and repair items by performing the following duties personally or through employees. Also, effectively manages distribution to insure the customer receives prompt oil deliveries.ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES Conducts detailed and regular training of service and installation technicians to ensure they are able to meet their job requirements. Trains drivers, sales representatives, and customers in technical issues as needed.  Visits and / or calls customers to ensure that installations or service work meet RTI’s standards and the customer’s expectations. Directs, guides, evaluates, manages, and motivates employees under his/her direction. Evaluates customers’ requests for service to determine a cause / type of malfunction and determine necessary service attention (ex. Troubleshooting, service call, etc). Arranges for transportation of equipment to customer's location for installation or from customer's location to depot for repairs that cannot be performed on premises. Assists with interviewing, hiring, performance management, payroll, disciplining, and all other areas related to employee management. Maintains a high level of customer service at all times by promptly responding to their needs / concerns by visiting at least the designated minimum customers each month. Maintains a clean warehouse and clean vehicles. Monitor all vehicles and keep preventative maintenance requirements up to date. Maintains inventory management by receiving incoming orders and shipping outgoing orders. Monitor on hand inventory as well as part movements to and from customers. Every month run a cycle count to keep an accurate inventory. Ensures that RTI is complies with all local and federally regulated requirements including DOT, OSHA, and HACCP.
