Details: About The Role The Regional Load Planner is responsible for direct customer service/support and coordinating the resources [loads, drivers, assets] of our day-to-day operations for the terminal. This includes monitoring customer load boards, EDI, freight tenders, solicitation, scheduling and capacity planning. Assuring process quality & customer service for the region as well as fleet safety performance is vital. This position facilitates communication between customer service, logistics, traffic, compliance and personnel departments at Corporate Headquarters. In this role you will respond to customer requests for proposals, solicit new business, resolve customer service and quality control issues , review and assist the Terminal Manager in a variety of Operational initatives and programs. Essential Functions Promote Tandem’s corporate Quality & Customer Service programs. Manage, develop, and maintain Tandem’s Traffic/Operations for the Region. Oversee and coordinate with the Tandem Logistics team on opportunities in the Region. Work with Director of Sales & Customer Service to address issues and deliver solutions. Coordinate with Corporate Safety on accident and cargo claims initiated through the terminal. Present both written and verbal communications to various management tiers including the Executive Committee. Other duties as may be necessary to provide superior service to our customers and support to our drivers.
